MSDN Ultimate - two subscriptions one account RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I had an MSDN Ultimate account that I used to sign up to Windows Azure to claim my 1500 hours free usage. This account has since expired and I have been assigned a new MSDN Ultimate account by my employer. When I log in to view my MSDN benefits I can see both subscriptions (one expired, one active) under my account. My question is: will Windows Azure billing be clever enough to know that I still qualify for the MSDN Ultimate benefits or will I get a nasty credit card bill?

Thanks in advance for any answers/pointers.

  • I do have 2 MSDN account. To enjoy the free subscription for your 2nd account.

Go to my account on MSDN and Select newly assigned MSDN account and scroll down, Click Windows Azure Platform link and sign up once again for Azure subscription for your new account and  enjoy the free Azure hours.  (Your Azure portal will show two subscription account now)

  • The safest route may just be to contact Billing Support for Windows Azure at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsazure/support/.  I'd assume they can handle making sure your subscription is updated appropriately.
