WinJS.UI.ListView Flow Direction RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have few question regarding WinJS.UI.ListView, I hope someone can answer me.

    1) When control is being rendered it generates inline styles. To give you an example below HTML code shows

    style="left: 0px; top: 0px; width: 320px; height: 120px;"

    Is there any way I can control this inline styles? In snapview I really want two items per column instead single item is occupying 320px. Is there any way to fix it or this is controls limitation?

    <div class="win-container" style="left: 0px; top: 0px; width: 320px; height: 120px;">
       <div tabindex="0" aria-hidden="true"></div>
       <div class="win-template win-item" id="ms__id229" role="option" aria-posinset="1" aria-setsize="42" aria-flowto="ms__id231" x-ms-aria-flowfrom="ms__id281">
          <div class="gradient">
             <img alt="ALT TExt" src="IMAGE SRC" data-win-bind="src: smallImage; alt: name" />
             <div class="show-name" data-win-bind="textContent: name">SHOW NAME</div>
       <div tabindex="0" aria-hidden="true"></div>

    2) I want to control the flow of the rendering. Again let me explain visually to make it more clear,

    Is there anyway to achieve this using ListView (ListLayout)? Again this goes back to same quest fitting two columns in snapview.
