    Hi there,

we are building a large scale application on .Net.

the user logs in to a dashboard (website) from which he can access multiple websites.

we want the user to enter his credentials once, gets validated against Active Directory and give him access to all other application without the need to authenticate again.

Dashboard and other websites can be hosted on the same IIS or several IIS.

what is the best practice? your help is much appreciated

A lot of Single Sign On products can help,

But none ships with IIS matches your description above. For example, Kerberos does not require "entering his credentials".
