EWS: Room response stays "Unknown" for a very long time for certain rooms. RRS feed

    I'm having a bit of a strange problem. Currently we book rooms using EWS using a pull approach to decide if the room accepted the booking or not (as described here: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/cead7451-dcc5-46b9-b225-b16874fdc914/ews-confirming-room-response-accepteddeclined-when-creating-appointment-where-room-is-invited?forum=exchangesvrdevelopment).

    This has been working well for us but now we have run into some issues. After a couple of new rooms were added (by an Exchange admin, not me) we seem to "never" get the room acceptance status for these rooms. It remains in "Unknown" state much longer than the previous rooms. 

    It's very consistent:

    - Old rooms have the status updated in 6-9 seconds.

    - New rooms do not get their status updated for well over a minute. If we bind to the appointment much later it has changed to Accepted...

    The Exchange admin claims there is no difference between the different rooms. Same servers, same permissions etc.

    Can anyone tell me why this might happen? What settings should I look at?
