  • If it's 2008 it could be the old very notorious bug:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee449462(v=bts.10).aspx

You need to add ";btproj" to the following registry key:

    32 bit Visual Studio:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\Projects\{FAE04EC0-301F-11d3-BF4B-00C04F79EFBC}\PossibleProjectExtensions

    64 bit Visual Studio :

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\Projects\{FAE04EC0-301F-11d3-BF4B-00C04F79EFBC}\PossibleProjectExtensions

So if the element right now contains:

    "csproj"

you need to append so that it wil contain:

    "csproj;btproj"

    and afterwards restart Visual Studio.

  • Looks like an issue with the VS Team system (Project creation failed)?

Have you checked the logs etc?
Which versions of BizTalk and VS IDE are you using?

  • La Cour,

    I only get
    FileExtensions folder

    within "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\Projects\{FAE04EC0-301F-11d3-BF4B-00C04F79EFBC}" below. Why?

  • "PossibleProjectExtensions" is an element (registry key) not a folder!!

It is located under the folder "{FAE....:", so if you click that folder, you should be able to see it on the right panel:
