Update Excel file based on emails in Outlook RRS feed

  • Perhaps I am posting the same question that has already been answered, again. If yes, kindly provide me a link to the same.

    I prepare and email some fixed number of reports daily to many users. I am marked cc to each of these reports being sent. I want a solution in such a way that I can keep track of whether all the reports have been sent before I finish my work for the day. Is it possible to have an excel file or macro or something of that sort which will automatically check my inbox for those specific reports at specified time, and if found, will produce some result like, "Done" or "OK"? For example, I want my excel to get triggered automatically, say, at 5 p.m. daily and run through my outlook inbox in search for those reports, and produce some result.

    The reports have the exact same subject line which never changes, except for the date of course.

    Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

    Apologies if the question is too vague or is posted in the wrong section. I come from Finance background :-)
