Unpublished application my Microsoft RRS feed

  • Question

  • My application was unpublished by Microsoft, because I had some problems with rules. But now I fixed my app, and I want to upload it with the same name, How to do it?

  • Hello VanooS,

You must follow the instructions in the email you received informing you that your app was removed.

  • I have the same problem. The email does not have any instructions for how to resubmit the fixed app. There is only a link to the detailed error report. There does not seem to be any way to submit the new version.

  • I have that situation too. But, if you look better in in last rows of Microsoft email, they say:

When your app is unpublished, the app name reservation is removed, so if you resubmit the app you’ll need to take action in Dev Center:
    • Log into Dev Center, click Submit an app, and follow the steps to reserve a name. If your previous app name is no longer available, you’ll need to create a new name.

So, that's the way to republish application.
