Using FSLogix on Notebooks (Windows 10) with Folder Redirection and Offline Files - Offline Files broken RRS feed

  • Hi everyone,

    we testing FSLogix as profilmanagement for notebooks with Windows 10 enterprise.
    Newest version of FSLogix is installed.
    Cloud Cache Location is set to local hard drive and smb share.

    In GPOs folder redirections are set and working with RUP (online/offline).

    With FSLogix:

    In company network everything is good, folder redirection is working. Syncing offline files is working successfull.

    Notebook logoff and login without any networkconnection no offline files are available for example on desktop.

    In redirection.xml I have tested ExecludeCommonFolders="127" or "0" with seperate excludes. Nothing work.

    If i navigate offline to \\company.com\dfs\UserData\%username%  there is an empty userfolder. Online there are a lot of files.

    It seams to be reset the offline files cache.

    Has anyone an idea or is it a bug.

  • I got completly the same Problem as you!!

    Cloud Cache Location on Local and SMB Share

    GPO Folder Redirection to SMB DFS Location

    Offline Files for User Home Dir(Folder Redirection Share)

    Offline Cache is Empty when login

    You found a fix for that?


    Its the ghost in the machine how dont let me go in vacation :-)

  • Hi I have tested a little bit. Only working solution is using Workfolders instate of Offline Files. But you have to migrate your offline file solution to workfolders. The ticket is already open. MS Engineer is working on it.

  • Same problem for me. Using Windows 10 1809 with FSLogix 2.9.7349.30108.

    Without any network connection users lost all the offline files.

    Any update om this case?

    ticket is opened. Two Support Engineers has viewed problem.

    Now we wait for new version. Developer working on an other ticket, with same problem. Next release we be available on october.
