  • Can you provide a bit more information about which service you are using? Bing Maps has two point of interest services, the Bing Maps SOAP Search Service and the NAVTEQ POI data in the Bing Spatial Data Services. For some reason I have a feeling you may be using a non-Bing Maps API. It would be good to clarify which API is being used before trying to figure out the issue.

  • Ok, I didn't think of that one as this forum post was posted to the Bing Maps services category.  I'm not sure why their are no postal codes but believe this is a known issue. I'll double check and make sure it is logged as a bug.

  • As mentioned before. This is a known issue. There is no timeline on adding in postal codes for these types of results.

  • Hi Ricky,

    Thanks for reply

In in my previous post you suggested to use the following service

    http://www.bingmapsportal.com/ISDK/AjaxV7#SearchModule4

So i am using that service.

Actually I am using this service in my CRM 2011 application , after finding a particualr business type in an area the user can save this details to its profile.

So I am capturing the service details return by the service request . So when checking for address details in result object i am not able to find the postalCode.

I have also gone through  NAVTEQ POI service but i felt the first one is good.

    Thanks
