No Mobile Apps in ASDK ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi the Azure Stack team,

I notice that Mobile Apps are not available in the new ASDK.
In addition, the Azure-Stack-white-paper-v3.pdf document says Azure Stack contains Mobile App in initial availability.
Do we have differences between the ASDK and Integrated systems on this feature?

Are we already in the initial availability ? General Availability,...what is the current status?

    Thank you for your explanations

    Daniel

  • Hi Daniel,

I'm the Program Manager on the Azure App Service team responsible for Azure App Service on Azure Stack.  There is no difference between the build of Azure App Service that customers will run on ASDK or Integrated Systems there is just one version available.

This is our first non-preview version but as such does not support High Availability due to the notes in the documentation.

Regarding Mobile Apps, we took the decision to remove them from this release of Azure App Service on Azure Stack and will reintroduce them in a future update to Azure App Service on Azure Stack,

    Thanks

    Andrew

    Thank you Andrew,

This is very important for me as an Azure consultant and cloud advisor for my customer to know that ASDK and Integrated systems versions are aligned. Your team made a great job on this new release! Trying to test it deeply these days, I'm impressed!

    Best regards,
    Daniel
