xbootmgr: record call stacks for manifest-based ETW events RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I found an article (http://blogs.msdn.com/pigscanfly/archive/2009/08/06/stack-walking-in-xperf.aspx) on how to do this with xperf but I need to do it with xbootmgr. I tried modifying the traceflags to be

latency+dispatcher+Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Core:::'stack' but my machine doesn't reboot and there are no error dialogs displayed.

If my traceflags is just latency+dispatcher then my machine reboots properly and I get a .etl file (without stacks for MS-Windows-Shell-Core of course).

Anyone know the correct syntax for xbootmgr?

    thanks,

    Marc
