Azure Cache for Redis - Failed State RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Creating a redis cache on Azure is not working and each attempt is in a 'Failed State', with error 409. The exception messages aren't very useful, any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Mark

  • Hi Mark,

Can you detail which region you are attempting to create a redis instance? I was able to deploy a Standard - 1Gb instance in West US just now. There should be a deployment log indicating at what step the failure is occurring. If I could get additional details from you, I could escalate this to get the product group involved.

    Thank you!

Want to follow up with this issue to see if you are still experiencing this issue. If the issue is still present, I can escalate this directly to the product group but will need to enable a support request for you. Please send me your Azure Subscription ID to AzCommunity and I will return instructions for next steps.

    Thank you,

  • Hi Mike,

Thanks for getting back to me. The issue seemed to resolve itself after a couple of days of trying, we have been able to create all caches successfully.

    Thanks,

    Mark
