Asset Library: Adding a New Tab RRS feed

  • Hello everyone.. I need to create a new tab named "MyControls" in the Asset Library of Expression Blend 4 to contain my custom controls.. How can I do this? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

  • Check out the ToolboxCategoryAttribute. It takes a bit of work to get everything plugged in correctly, but that will make your controls/behaviors/what-have-you show up in the proper place inside the Assets panel.

    If you're looking for an example, the PhysicsHelper project on codeplex has custom behaviors that get added to the Behaviors section. You can look at their source code here: https://physicshelper.codeplex.com/SourceControl/list/changesets
