Is it possible to select a node in a GViewer graph using a string for the key? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to enhance an existing application (written by someone else, using GLEE), that shows a call graph for all the methods in a C# class.  Methods are shown as nodes, calls between methods are shown as edges.

I want to highlight a specific method node in a graph, based on the method name string passed in from another window.  Is there an easy way to do this?  Or do I need to iterate through all the nodes in the graph?

I studied the MSAGL help, but did not see anything that looked like it would fit the bill.

    Thanks.

  • Lev,

Thanks!  With your help, I was able to implement the feature.

Not sure how I missed that method - it's certainly in the help file.

  • Hi Tom,
Graph.FindNode(string nodeId) should work for you. It looks for the node by its ID.
    Thanks,
