User Reset Password Configuration not working

    Question

  • Hello everybody,

I'm fairly new to Azure AD and I'm running into a roadblock.

I have the "Users Enabled for Password Reset" option enabled without any limits on which users can reset their own passwords.

I went to portal.office.com and logged in with the test user to input authentication information for the password reset.

After filling out and verifying all the authentication information, I logged out of the account.

I then clicked the "Can't access your account?" link on the portal page which should walk me through resetting my password. But, when I click this link, I get this error: Your account is not enabled for password reset

From what I've done, this user should be enabled for password reset, correct?

Did I miss a step in the configuration? I didn't get too deep into customizations. Just enabled the ability for all users.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

    Thank you,

    Gary Winhoven
