Vista - grant SeImpersonationPrivilege to NonAdministrative users.. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to set SeImpersonatePrivilege for non-administrative users in Vista?

    I tried the following :
secpol.msc > Local Policy > User Rights > Impersonate A Client after authentication > Then add a "nonAdminUser" to the list of users.
And then i did a gpupdate.

After this when  i launch a process as the "nonAdminUser", SeImpersonatePrivilege does not show up in the processExplorer security tab..

Any idea why this is not happening? Is it not possible to give Impersonation rights to nonAdministrative users?
