  • Like any (school?) project, you look in the local library (or google now days) what kind of research is available on this subject you read the research papers and decide on an algorhitm. Then you implement. The area you are asking about it way to complicated for a simple 'please send me the code' request on these forums. Here's a paper to start with but there's plenty of other research on the subject.

  • Hi,

Try to use  OpenCV, it's an image processing library, you could do this using C++. You will need to have some mathematical skills....

Here a short tutorial (how to extract the histogram of an image, etc... ) : http://dasl.mem.drexel.edu/~noahKuntz/openCVTut6.html

    Thanks.
