How to change from farenheit to centigrade in the Weather App? RRS feed

Answers

  • Hi Silverpulser,

please open the Weather application, take your pointer to the lower left screen, on the little Charms window that appears there, click on Settings, you'll get a window on the right side of the Screen, one of the options is Preferences, click on it and you will get the option to select either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Hope it helps.

  • Thank you, that was nice and easy. I just didn't imagine that Settings worked that way for individual apps.

  • OK now I have got my preferred temperature scale. When I click on Current city it responds with cannot find and to make sure that I have Location awareness enabled. I can't seem to find that by searching for Location awareness!

Oh, found it under Settings/Weather Preferences/Control system system access for weather
