High CPU usage when setting ActiveWindow Height RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an Excel workbook (Office365) where I set the ActiveWindow Height via a procedure.

When setting the .Height to 615 the CPU usage blows up to 24-29% even in idle state, while increasing the window height to 617, the CPU usage goes down to 0-1% when idle.

The consequence of having the high CPU load is that the workbook and Excel crashes if I try to change active printer in Backstage

Any reason to why this happens? The cells in the level of the 615 height are empty but partially formatted with fill color (as the main part of the worksheet also is). There is however a named cell below and to the right of the height 615, i.e. outside of the visible window frame. This cell is used as an intersection for a Freeze Pane setting.
