    Does Visual C# Express license permit commercial use? Could I develop a software with Visual C# Express and sell it?

    Can I use Express Editions for commercial use?
    Yes, there are no licensing restrictions for applications built using  Visual Studio Express Editions.

    (And I can understand the question - Where the ____ has microsoft the  license agreement? I get the download quickly and was unable to find it  online. I even got a registry key (offline registering) without seeing a  license agreement. Not nice if you want to check that before starting any  download / installation.

    Yes, you can use the Express edition of Visual Studio to build any commercial applications.
