Low Computer functionalty RRS feed

  • My PC has nothing big stored in it but it is very slow and hangs frequently, how can this be rectified? Thank you.

    Anyway, I suggest you to perform a full antivirus/antispyware scan of your system to verify that it is completely malware free; then use the System Configuration Utility (Start -> Run..., type "msconfig" and hit ENTER) and Sysinternals Autoruns ( to get a list of the programs and services loaded at the system boot, so that you can decide if one or more can be disabled or removed.
    Talking about the frequent hangs, check the "Application" and "System" Windows logs in the Event Viewer to see if there's any record that could be related to your problem.
