    If you want to upload files in binary format and store them in the database, like a Word document or PDF file or any other file containing unstructured data. Please refer to Matt's blog below.

    First of all thanks for post, nice article but here i have one problem, actually

    Iam using this code to upload, But i need to insert the file in SqlServer 2012

    myapp.ViewContractorHome.ResumeUpload_render = function (element, contentItem) {

     var fileinput = $('<input name="file" type="file" style="margin-bottom: 10px;" />');

    $(element).append(fileinput);

    };
