Refrence One Project to other one

    Question

  • i create windows8.1 project "Library" in VS2013

    add existing project "dropDown" in solution explorer 

    In "Library" project add refrence of "dropDown"

    when i compile the project it shows following error

    Error 1 Payload contains two or more files with the same destination path 'App.xbf'. Source files: 
    C:\Users\z.ahmed\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\LibraryProject\LibraryProject\bin\Debug\App.xbf
    C:\Users\z.ahmed\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\dropDownControl\dropDownControl\bin\Debug\App.xbf LibraryProject
    Error 2 Payload contains two or more files with the same destination path 'MainPage.xbf'. Source files: 
    C:\Users\z.ahmed\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\LibraryProject\LibraryProject\bin\Debug\MainPage.xbf
    C:\Users\z.ahmed\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\dropDownControl\dropDownControl\bin\Debug\MainPage.xbf LibraryProject

  • both projects comtain mainpage.xaml and app.xaml? did you select a Class Library as project template for one of them?

  • Hi Zubair44,

    Are you ref to another project page from the initial project? That's not allowed. You have to set one as the project and another one as the class library.
