    Installing VMware Horizon Client Setup Wizard fails with the below error.

    "VMware Horizon Client Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. You System has been modified"

    Found these entries in VMMSI.log :

  • I am having the identical problem.  Started occurring after a recent recompose that included the AppVol agent.

    Any success on resolving this issue?

    Thanks for posting!  

    I'm not too familiar with the VMware stack - we focus on our own Microsoft products.  You will probably have better luck posting in the VMware Horizon forum.

    That said, if you give me a few more details on your setup I'm happy to help.

    What is your host and guest OS?  Does this issue occur on all your hosts or just some?  Can you revert to the version you were using before the recompose and does that work?
