  • LINQ to SQL is only for Microsoft SQL Server. For other databases we must use Entity Framework and LINQ to Entities. Yes ?????

  • LINQ to SQL supports SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008 and SQL CE.

  • Correct - LINQ to SQL is for SQL Server 2000 and later (and SQL CE).

    There are also some third-party framework that have some LINQ support, such as LLBLGEN and NHibernate.
