I have used “Propeller Tool V1.3.2” to edit my spin code and I already obtained IR ,Sonar, Encoder, Compass data and control Servo motor. <o:p></o:p>

However, I know Kinect’s Skeleton data which only transmits to a PC via USB to give Eddie control Board command. (figure 1)<o:p></o:p>

If I modify this spin code (Eddie.spin), can I obtain Kinect’s Skeleton data on Propeller Tool V1.3.2 ? (figure 2) For example , is this possible with GPIO blocks?

  • I am not aware of anyone that has read Kinect data with anything other than a PC running Windows or Linux.  You could try the Parallax/SPIN forums (http://forums.parallax.com/)

The Eddie control board does not have a separate USB input though maybe someone has written a USB controller for  GPIO pins in SPIN?  OpenNUI is open source must have information about the Kinect data format coming over the USB channel.
