File transfer from Windows 7 to Windows Embedded Compact 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am a beginner in Windows Embedded Compact.

My current setup: I am running a system which has Windows 8 on it. Over that I am running Vmware which has Windows 7. On windows 7 I have a virtual PC 2007 which is running Windows Embedded Compact 7. I have built it using Visual Studio 2013. It seems to be running fine.

For transferring a file, on Visual Studio I have clicked on Tools-> Remote Tools -> File Viewer. On selecting (auto)Ether1 I get an error saying 'Unspecified error'.On VS2013 Console I get the following message:

    3501429 PID:400002 TID:1ee3e0a RELFSD: Opening file ClientShutdown3.exe from desktop
    3501448 PID:1e637fa TID:1ee3e0a ERROR! LoadE32 failed, dwErr = 0000047e!
    3501449 PID:1ca000a TID:163000a NKCreateProcess exit: dwErr = 0000047e
    3501465 PID:1e637fa TID:1ee3e0a OSAXST1: <<< Unloading Module '' (0xC04625F4) at address 0x00000000-0x00011000 in Process '' (0xC04625F4)

In Project->Properties->Configuration Properties->Build Options->Enable KITL it says 'Yes'.

Can someone help me around this issue as I need to transfer this file.

    Thanks in advance
