Infopath - disallow user to edit already submitted form

    Question

  • Is there a way to achieve when user submits an InfoPath form to approval process that after he/she submits it, he/she is unable to repair anything later on? The only option that would be allowed to created user would be either delete the form or even better, somehow put it in "cancel status".

Any good tutorials know-hows regarding this scenario guys?

    Thanks

    With best regards

  • THanks for a very quick replies Lakshmanan Sethu.

Do you also perhaps suggest how to achieve: "turn off the toolbar submit button".

We would like to use our buttons.

Thanks again, and have a nice day!

  • Hi Bostjan Cvelbar,

Here are the steps to disable InfoPath commands (such as: Save, Save as options) in the ribbon/toolbar for the browser view of InfoPath forms.

    1. Open the form in the InfoPath Designer, click on File > Advanced Form Options.

    2. Uncheck the InfoPath commands which you want to turn off in the toolbar.
