  • Hi Sid,

The ActiveX control was removed because Access now includes a built-in date picker. Try the following:

    1. Add a date/time field to a table

    2. Add the date/time field to a form

    3. Open the form in Form View

    4. Place your cursor in the date/time textbox

    5. You should see a small calendar button next to it

    6. When you click on the small calendar button, the date picker will open

    Will that work for you?

  • If you really really must use this, you will need to:

    1. Open the command window using Run as Administrator
    2. Put the control in %windows%\syswow64 folder
    3. Register it with regsvr32.exe in that same folder.
