Lumia Imaging SDK Issues

    Question

  • https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn859600.aspx

    i am following the instruction in the link above, however, when it runs to

    // A cartoon effect is initialized with the selected image stream as source.
            var imageSource = new RandomAccessStreamImageSource(fileStream);

    in the method private async Task<bool> ApplyFilterAsync(StorageFile file)

    it always had an exception says Requested Windows Runtime type 'Lumia.Imaging.RandomAccessStreamImageSource' is not registered

    i have a Lumia Imaging SDK of version 2.0, which i download using the Nuget Manager in vs

    and VS 2013 Express update 4

    Could anyone please resolve my problem?

    Appreciated!

  • Are you sure you created a universal app not a silverlight phone app?

  • Hello,

    I’ve tested to add and use lumia imaging SDK in universal app project, the project did not produce such exception. Please try follow ken’s suggestion to check the type of your project and try narrow down this problem.

    If you don’t know how to do, please submit a repro project to show the problem in detail on your OneDrive, then share a link here.
