How to communicate between PHP and ASP Files..?? RRS feed

  •  How to communicate  between PHP and ASP Files..??

    1) When they are hosted in the same Server.?

    2) When they are Hosted in the different Server.?

    Please give suggestion How to communicate  with these two different Files.

  • When you work on the same Domain you can share information any way you share information between two ASP pages. No relation at all between the technologies in which the file is being developed. after all the browser dont have any idea about the server side tech. there for You can use GET, POST, DELETE, PUT and any HTTP requests, or just use cookies to save the shared information, you can share scripts between pages and more...

    Work between separate systems is more complex issue due to security restrictions in browsers. The recommended way is to work with such a shared service like a WCF or Web service (the old way)

  • the best way is to use database to store your session data.

    session are save via cookies  to you can set the cookie to handle the sync key.

    asp.net has a build in sync to db.

    you will have to write it yourself in the php.

    and you can also use openid to identify user from php and asp.
