Published App to azure: Problem with "You do not have permission to view this directory or page." RRS feed

  • Question

  • I realize this is not a LS specific error in particular.

I have created a little app I want to host in azure in order to show it to a friend and I am new to the HTML Client and azure especially. I published the app to azure in a new website and database. Now if i want to access the website i get the error: "You do not have permission to view this directory or page."

What do i have to do in order to access my own application in ls html hosted in azure ? In addition, how do i create different users and their login credentials in the HTML Client ? I haven't found an explenation for that yet...

    thanks in advance

Answers

  • assuming you publish to Azure website, include 'HMTLClient' as part of the url...

    e.g., http://yourapp.azurewebsites.net/htmlclient

there's now user/role manager UI for the HTML client, so its either you settle for the SL one or write your own.
