Excel 2016 VBA not working on Excel 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

One of my users has created Excel workbook that has VBA code inside.

However when users on Excel 2010 try to run it they get message "Run-time error '1004': Class not registered"

When I try to Debug it points to this command and I'm unable to Step over:

We plan to upgrade this Office 2010 to 2016 soon. However I'd like to know what is the root cause of this error.

Is it possible that .RefreshAll does not exist in Excel 2010 VBA ?

    Thanks for any help!

  • Hi boris.bahes,

I'm wondering why you're asking about Excel 2010 VBA. Don't you have a plan to upgrade from Office 2010 to 2016?

Putting that aside, ActuveWorkbook.RefreshAll can be used in Excel 2010.

I've just checked it and it worked with no errors.
(this Office 2010 is Japanese version)
I hope you will provide more detail of the issue.

  • Our company does not want to invest in new licenses of Office for new employees so they get old licenses like 2010, 2013...

I could send you private e-mail with this .XLSM ?
