Too bad there is no release time frame RRS feed

  • Question

  • I saw a demonstration of Acropolis at the Fort Worth .NET User's Group meeting this last Tuesday and was very impressed. It is exactly what I had been looking for to do internal windows application development at my company. I have a dozen developers across two sites who have varying levels of UI skills, angling more towards web, but have a directive to start to deliver lots of small windows applications for internal users. This appears to be an ideal framework wherein the general layout and common functions could be laid out and then just extended to each specific application. What was also very nice about it was that you did not have to dig deep into CAB and such. I can see from the forum that asking for release dates is futile so I won't. I just wanted to post that I am disappointed that more is not being done with this framework. I could put it to immediate productive use. Dang.
