#Error in column - Reporting Services 2008 R2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a report that renders the data in all columns correctly in BIDS but when it runs in Reporting Services I get an #Error in the column.

We just migrated from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008 R2.

The expression for the column is =Fields!xp_m_mat_costs.Value

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    John

  • Hi John,

Check for the number format, try this:-

    1. Right click on the column go to text box properties

    2. go to Number tab

    3. Check for the "Custom Format" expression.

I have a hunch that 2005 was using different Custom Format expression than compared to 2008.

something like "P" or "N"... etc

    Thanks
