Hi Santana,
Visual Studio Online Early adopter program will be expired in May 7th, after that each Basic plan for VSO can only have 5 users free. See the page for more information about VSO user plans.
For your situation, if you want to use VSO without charge, you can create 3 Visual Studio Online accounts. Then create the team projects and add corresponding team members(Live Id) to each VSO account. If you want to use one VSO account only, you need to set up billing for your account.

Hi Santana,
My understanding is that you have 2 basic accounts(MS account/Live ID) in a Visual Studio account, and you would like to work with 2 team projects by using the basic accounts separately. Please clarify if I'm wrong. The answer is yes, when the account is a team member of the VSO account and is assigned with the requirement permissions, then you can use it to create a team project. See this page for more information about Visual Studio Online.
