Cannot open or edit macro page in excel 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I am trying to write code in macro for connecting to oracle database and get the data from it. Prior to that, I cannot open or edit VBA editor to write macro. I tried opening with Alt+F11. Did R&D on it how to edit but what I found was keep on trying to press Alt+F11. I checked checking in Developer tab, but they are disabled. Please help me on how to open.

  • Quit Excel.

In Windows, open the control panel, then open 'Programs and Features'.

Select Microsoft Office 2007, then click Change.

Select 'Add or Remove Features', then click Continue.

    Expand 'Office Shared Features'.

Click on 'Visual Basic for Applications' and select 'Run from My Computer'.

Click Continue, then click Close when reconfiguring Office is done.
