  • Hi Rahul,

It happens when you are trying to access registry or kind system related APIs. It may not be happeneing on all devices.

if you want to disable error reporting, go to the device- menu Start/item Settings, tab System, Item Error reporting, select "Disable Error reporting", click OK button. Done.

  • Hi,

You may want to investigate the reason for this error report being generated.

You can copy the associated KDMP file to your desktop and then open it using Dump Viewer to gain additional information about the problem. The following forum posting will help with this :-

If you turn error reporting off then your application will crash without you knowing what has happened so I wouldn't recommend turning it off until you have investigated the potential issue.

    Hope this helps.

  • hi

i hav used try catch(...) in all the functions, but still i got the error report. But after selecting 'Dont Send' in the error dialog, i was able to continue working with my application. My application didnt crash.

in the emulator i didnt get the problem, there is no error reporting dialog. only in the mobile device i get this issue,

is it because of any version mismatch issue ..?

can somebody help me on it...

  • Hello,
DiD you try to analyze stack dump generated by System. or try to debug you application; debugger will tell you where you application is actually generating this exception.

    Thanks
