Secure Boot not working on Windows 10 32-bit / Server 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a test system with an ASUSTek Board. Secure Boot is enabled. Furthermore I have 3 identical SSD, one with an installed Windows 10 64-bit (completly updated), one with an installed Windows 10 32-bit (completly updated) and one with an installed Windows Server 2016 (completly updated). If I run the system with Windows 10 64-bit, the system information shows the BIOS mode "UEFI mode" and Secure Boot State "On". After switching secure boot off it shows the state "Off" as expected. If do the same with Windows 10 32-Bit or Windows Server 2016, the BIOS mode is "Legacy" and Secure Boot State "Unsupported", no matter whether or not secure boot is enabled.

I reinstalled both and made sure that secure boot is enabled during installation.

Is secure boot not supported by Windows 10 32-bit or Windows Server 2016?
