  • Hi

My question is about apps for office,

    a) I see that javascript is the main language for developing apps for office. Is there any way to use VB  to do apps for office so you can publish them in the office app store? And if so would you use some Visual Studio ..x?

No. Apps for Office development does not provide VB APIs.

Built with web technologies, apps for Office are particularly well suited for creating web mash-ups and using Office as a surface for exposing existing web functionality. It uses the power of the web and standard web technologies like HTML5, XML, CSS3, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
