Azure Data Factory is showing blank page on new window

    Question

  • Hi,

When trying to open the ADF page it's going to new window it's showing some drop down then immediately redirecting to

    https://datafactoryv2.azure.com/accesstoken.html

and the page is going blank.

this is happening in both the cases when you open from the Azure Portal and also the above link for Data Factory.

Any suggestions fixes would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  • 1. did you disable the third party cookie in your browser ? you need to enable it.

    2. can you try to log out your azure account, and open https://adf.azure.com directly to see if it shows up.

  • Hi.

    1. What is the browser type are you using? Chrome and Edge are officially supported, IE is not.

    2. Have you tried cleaning your browser cache?

    3. Have you tried opening the azure portal in a private/incognito window and then click the "author and monitor" button?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

I have tried all of these and it is the same link which it is redirecting to and returning blank page with some access token ID.

    Thanks,

  • I was having the same problem also.  I'm running Edge on the Windows Insider build (17760.1) of Windows 10 version 1809.

Changing the setting in Edge under Privacy and Security / Cookies to "Don't block cookies" allowed Azure Data Factory to work again.

Blocking third party cookies appears to be a new default setting in the latest version of Edge.  I did *not* change this myself.

  • Hi, because it enables single sign-on implicit login process in this app, the login information stored in the AAD domain session, the apps requires that information to log you in. you can refer to this doc for any authentication questions. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/develop/v2-oauth2-implicit-grant-flow
