continuous watch variable with timestamp RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to have a continuous watch variable with timestamp. So every time the code is executed the variable is updated. Because of timing No use of breakpoints which will hold the program. If the variable is out of scope it will not be updated. If the variable changes the timestamp will also be updated. Right click on the variable and add to the list of variables to watch. It should be called easy debug.

  • No.  That's not very useful as a debugging technique.  Either you want it to STOP when a variable is changed, or you just need to know the current value.

What would you use as a timestamp?
