Word to PDF Converter

Hello,

 

We are currently using ABCPDF to convert Word documents into PDF, this works great under low load or when running within a windows or console application.  But within an ASP.Net application under heavy load the process stops working until we recycling the application pool and reset ABCPDF.

Does anyone have any suggestions for different software to perform the conversion?

We tried ActivePDF in the past but found it to be a pain to work with and not very reliable.

Thanks for the respond, I have had a look at the link provided but unforunately it only works for RTF documents while we are looking for a word converter.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

If you didn't find a solution yet for this task, I advice you to try the UseOffice .Net:

http://www.sautinsoft.com/components/useoffice_net.zip

It will help you to convert DOCX and DOC files to RTF.

Next using another our component PDF Metamorphosis .Net:

http://www.sautinsoft.com/components/pdf_metamorphosis_net.zip

Convert RTF to PDF. This will also work for XLS and PPT documents.
