  • You can connect to web services on remote systems. Those web services can do whatever web services can do.

There is no direct API callable by Windows Store apps.

  • Hi Nafza,

WMI is not supported in Windows Store apps. There is no API for controlling Hyper-V.

  • Hi Rob,

Thanks for your reply. But I can access Powershell through WCF service which allows me to call cmdlets related to Hyper-V.

I came across an app in the store which can show the Hyper-V virtual machine thumbnail view inside the gridview.

    http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/hyper-v-manager/35563403-f3b9-40c6-9e08-9a046f1686f4

    Thus, is it possible?

    Thanks.

    Regards,
