Photo Captions RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to place a number of photos on a page and need captions (some two or three lines long) directly under each photo.  The photos size will be approximately 200 X 200 pixels.

How do I create the captions?

  • Ok as an example of how to start, open your site and then create a new page.

Then in design view click Table > Insert Table.
In the dialog that opens it should default to 2 rows and 2 columns and 100 percent page width
    so just click OK

You will see the outline of 4 cells in the design window.
Click in a top cell and then click Insert > Picture from file
    Insert your image.
Then click in the cell below and type your text.

Now you see how it is done.
Delete that page and start a new one, but this time create the table with enough rows and columns for the amount of images you want on the page.

  •  Create them in a separate table cell or div below the image.

  • I am not sure what you mean.  Can it be done on the design tab?  Sorry, I am new to this and do not know too much about code.  I am trying to learn but it takes time.
