Storage Blob Upload/Download RRS feed

  • Question

  • First of all your documentation is not as per exceptions.

    What to know that is the best strategy to follow on download and upload. which sdk to follow in python (there are two sdk v11 and v12. v11 has block storage client).

    Some container have file of 300 GB each. And some container have file of few KB each. as you can see some time file size can be a problem so i want to a progressive download and upload. That i dont see this option in any of your methods. Please check and help on these.

  • Firstly, apologies for the delay in responding here and any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

    For python there are only version==12.x.x and version<=2.1.0.

    For version==12.x.x download, you can do:

    with open(FILE_PATH, 'wb') as stream:     bytes_read = blob_client.download_file().readinto(stream)

    Hope this helps!

    Kindly let us know if the above helps or you need further assistance on this issue.
