Direct3D save to image file

    Question

  • I've read the "Direct2D save to image file sample" but the method could not be applied to Direct3D. Could someone give some hints on how to do this? Thanks.

PS: I've posted this question to C++ forum but got no reply, sorry for repetition.

  • If you are basically trying to generate a 'screenshot' from a Direct3D render target, take a look at 'ScreenGrab' in the DirectXTK library.
