Is there any way to know the current posision out of Metro start screen?

On Win8 Metro, Start Screen is speeded approximately 3 pages horizontally, and only one third is displayed on the screen.
My question is, from Metro style application, is there any way to obtain the current position of the displayed screen image out of entire start screen image?
x coordinate or % from left/right side, etc... any kind of information would be helpful for me. Please advise.Keiko Fushimi

I'm not sure I understand the question. When your Metro application is running, it's the only thing on the screen.Monday, February 27, 2012 10:01 AM

If you're talking about the position of the application's Live Tile, then no there is no way to determine where it is. The arrangement of Live Tiles shouldn't concern the application developer, as it is purely down to the user's preference. Allowing applications to identify where (or if) their application is pinned will simply lead to the situation in which developers abuse this information to force users to pin their app on the first page of the Start screen, which defeats the point.Monday, February 27, 2012 4:02 PM

Hi AndyCadley,
you are right, it has to be a user's privilege to be able to move the tile to suit his preference.
