vb.net 2010 desktop application RRS feed

  • Question

  • In a vb.net 2010 desktop application, I am going to have the application write data to an access 2013. The data from the Access 2013 database will be linked to sql server 2012 so that the data is loaded directly. This is a requirement from the user. Thus can I include the Access 2013 database that will be used as part of the install on the users workstation? If so, I would I setup this kind of an install?

  • Hello,

I would recommend looking at the following download. I use this against MS-Access 2013 on a Windows 7.

  • wendy,

While many think (and will tell you) it is just simple, is synchronizing data between 2 databases which is not delivered at the same time very difficult.

    It is called data replication.
