PVP-OPM implemented under Vista? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is PVP-OPM workable under Vista? I could not find any header or library under Windows Vista SDK 1.0.

Is COP workable under Meida Foundation? How to get a pointer of IAMCertifiedOutputProtection?

  • Yes, PVP OPM is completely functional in VISTA. The header files are private and they are not published as yet.

COPP semantics are possible when using MF.But you do not get an IAMCertifiedOutputProtection interface using MF.

  • Then how do I use COP under MF, without the interface?

  • OPM applications get the IOPMVideoOutput interface by passing an HMONITOR or an IDirect3DDevice9 object to the OPMGetVideoOutputsFromHMONITOR or OPMGetVideoOutputsFromIDirect3DDevice9Object function respectively. And  in these functions one can specify the Video Output Semantics i.e. COPP or OPM to be used .... Currently No Information is published on these functions and interfaces .
